In the situation we are now the teachers' strike (As much as I respect everyone's right to strike), and even in the period of nationwide examinations to enter universities is mildly unacceptable.

If Secondary education teachers wanted to actually contribute to the reversal of this dire situation, they would offer the maximum of their capabilies. Instead of striking they should have made sure our children educate correctly. So, teachers as rational, responsible and free citizens defend democracy and social justice. Each parent that his kids attend high school, was asked to find the extra money they don't have to extend the tutorials of their children so that they can meet the requirements of the national university examinations that are coming soon. With what psychology will kids advance and will do their best, when it is uncertain if there will be any exams at all?

Strikers of OLME should look their students in the eye. You can make as many strikes you want, but you have to make sure that you are firstly teachers and educators of the nation instead of miserable civil servants.

She used to say that Greece can make any man artist," She used to say the same. In the old course (1899-1998) Ellie Sougioutzoglou-Seraidari, historical photographer lso known as “Nelly’s”,used  to make spot-on references to the ancient beauty. Following the recent exhibition at DD sixty famous and less-known works (the ethereal images of nude dancers on the Parthenon, which had shocked the audience of the time, and muscular athletes with background iconic landscapes of the ancient world, details busts imprinted with the classic German photographic education and daily snapshots from Plaka,Athens) will be presented in the custody of Joan and Jeff Basdeki Vanterpoul in monastic building of “long Room”, which sends us back in time at Pikermi (opening: 26/4/2013, 8 pm).

We heard on the radio bus, and it was so heavy and exaggerated the bouzouki joint-not distinguish words-which I wondered whether this thing was a joke. It was. Katerina Stanisi a popular greek singer making fun of herself delightfully in one ad that really might be the first jumbo that I liked. Completely kitsch, intolerable music, the slaughtered animal - things that now are not familiar to me, but as a child necessarily after living in this country is considered normal. Transmits a spring feeling of warmth that exists deep in the Greek collective subconscious, and describes /makes fun of the Greek Easterwith-the sweet naivete and safety-as we remembered from childhood.
But of course without this godmother-singer ... Source: www.lifo.gr
